Bieber Fever

Well we are going Beiber crazy arnt we ! Who really is Justin Beiber anyway ? I hear people asking this question frequently. I have only discovered who this young guy is over the last couple of days. As his story of fame has been unravelled it has been interesting to note that he was just an ordinary kid until his mom posted a few youtube vids of him singing and bingo bango he's a mega singing sensation. Now admitedly he would say that it didnt happen that quickly and that his stardom took a good two years to develop however one thing that cannot be disputed is his overall popularity with the younger teenage girl demographic. Thing is I think the kid can sing ! Am I a fan no, I wouldnt say so ! Well not yet anyway !

Has kind of got me thinking about the hidden talents people have and what it means to be discovered. What does being discovered really mean anyway. Someone says hey this kids has talent ! That gets verified by some people who are important and wulla you are discovered and things esculate from there. TV appearances, Oprah, Dr Phil, Dancing With The Starts & Sunrise !!.

Wouldnt we all like a bit of recognition and stardom in our lives, I think if we were all honest we'd say yes. Because I think deep down inside all of us we would like to think that we are special in some way and have some gifts and abilities that have not yet been discovered.

The bible tells us that the Holy Spirit gives people gifts as he choses ( Hebrews 2:4 ).

I wonder is there any gifts in you that have not been discovered yet and are just bubbling at the surface waiting to be unearthed for his Glory.
